Red Rocks, Broulee 1

About the Painting

The stunning early morning view of underrated Red Rocks at Broulee Beach took my breath away. The rocks, weathered by the wind and the sea, are lined up in parallels leading your eyes to the set of monumental formations.

About The Artist

Marina Strijakova is a Russian born artist whose career was based on painting flora and animals until she set foot on Australian land. The mother-of-three developed extreme love for Australian nature, diversity, and interdependency.

Her love for nature is incorporated into her unique style of art through a combination of Millenia Chinese calligraphy brush strokes and western painting techniques. Marina uses numerous mediums including impasto, modelling paste, heavy gel and gesso, to add texture to her masterpieces. To add more depth to the pieces, she adds ink, acrylic and oil paints to add multi-layered colors and shades.

De Gillett, Rhonda Gray, Alexander Maranov, Amanda Krantz are her artistic influencers.
