Comic book – style Illustration of a female superhero Jacqueline Bambera facing a monster on a photograph of street art from Brick Lane, London. She subdues the monster and plans to train it to join her in her crime-fighting endeavors.
About The Artist
James Mathurin the artist, born in 1979 in London, works with traditional pen and ink line work, digital drawing and coloring, photography, and various combinations.
His works are heavily influenced by surrealism, Giorgio de Chirico, Art Deco, Pre-Raphaelites, and comic books by Denys Cowan, Crisscross.
James’ work portrays perfect narratives of the time. After receiving his BA in Visual Communication Design from the prestigious institute of Middlesex University, James completed some freelance adventure gigs and moved to Sydney.
In Sydney, he started showcasing his talents with the Sydney Comic Guild and other groups. As of now, he works as the design and concept artist of the Primal: Khaos game, in development by Yelkrab Studios.
