About the Artist
Vinaya Muralidharan is an artist from India currently living in Sydney, Australia. Vinaya always loved drawing and painting from an early age and always represented her school/college for art competitions.
Colour is an important part of her works and the inspiration for the colours used comes from her travels around India.
Her love for whimsical, delicate textures and colours is evident in her work. Her unique florals are inspired by the nature around her. Being exposed to different cultures and countries make her works unique, she believes.
Watercolour is her favourite medium to work with although she swit although she switches between mediums. She believes that the medium of watercolour is magical and is a perfect medium for her whimsical, nature inspired artworks.
